January 31, 1948 ~ December 3, 2013

BRIGHAM CITY – Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend, Linda Lee Munn Elgan, 65 passed away suddenly on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at the Brigham City Community Hospital.

Linda was born on January 31, 1948 in Pocatello, Idaho. She graduated from American Falls High School and attended Weber State College. Linda married her sweetheart, Glenn Forrest Elgan on August 21, 1970 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Linda was currently a member of Brigham City LDS 9th Ward, where she served in the Relief Society, Primary, Cub Scout Den Leader, Ward Librarian and did extraction work. She served on the Cub Scout Roundtable committee for many years.

Linda loved going to family reunions, camping with family, but her favorite pastime was spoiling her grandchildren. The family would like to thank the Brigham City Ambulance and EMT’s for their quick response and to all Ninth Ward Relief Society Sisters. Surviving are her husband, Glenn; seven children: Corey (Brandy) Elgan; Carl Elgan; Jeremy Elgan; Jennifer (Gaylen) Robinette; Nicholas (Madison) Elgan; Jolene (Jade) Valentine; Jonathan (Ashlee) Elgan; 15 grandchildren and one great grandchild on the way; one sister, Marian Tripp.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Beth. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Gillies Funeral Chapel, to offset funeral expenses.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 9, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City, Utah.
